BIOSTIMULANTS

Biostimulants are fertilising specialties for agriculture complementing action of other fertilizers by enhancing physiological activity of plants and carrying out
preventive activity against abiotic stress.
Biostimulants consist of complex mixtures of components, whose mechanisms of action, many of them not yet scientifically known, are equally complex and may be identified as general positive impacts on plant productivity through improvement in processes such as photosynthesis, senescence, modulation of phytohormones, nutrient and water absorption and activation of genes responsible for resistance to abiotic stress and alterations in plant architecture and phenology.
These molecules are involved in regulating different growth and development processes, determining shape of flowers and leaves, controlling root length and
stem thickness or inducing secondary biosynthesis metabolism through the activation of multiple signaling pathways.
SPAA® has developed a line of specific products, in particular:

  • Protein hydrolysates 100% of plant origin
  • Extracts of essences

The designed formulations provide supply of active and readily available biomolecules to stimulate cell metabolism. SPAA® biostimulants are easily absorbed by plants both at foliar and root level.
